Targus Q1 revenue soars to $12.5 Mn

New Delhi: In line with its target to achieve the turnover of 200 crore during the financial year, Targus Technologies, a system and network integrator in India, has announced that its revenues rose to 50 crore ($12.5 million) in the first quarter of the current fiscal (2008-09). According to Col. Balwinder Singh, Director, Targus Technologies, the company is confident to meet the revenue target for the year and will execute some very large implementations demonstrating its capabilities across diverse verticals and technologies. Targus achieved the quarterly revenue milestone riding on the revenues earned from four major orders for Unix Servers, Blade Servers, Storage Solutions and HP Open call - all enterprise products, implementation of which is the core strength area for the company. During this quarter, Targus also entered a strategic tie-up with Aruba Networks, a global player in wireless LANs and secure unified mobility solutions, wherein, Targus will become the largest system integrator for Aruba Network's solutions in India. Targus recently announced the shifting of its head office to a new location in Gurgaon and the opening up of a new branch office in Mumbai.
