Bangalore: Siemens Enterprise Communications and T-Systems, Two providers of Unified Communications solutions, have made a global agreement to provide key international customers greater cost efficiency with standardized products, best-in-class capabilities, quicker technology level and worldwide service. "In addition to software, data center services and storage capacity, we are now also offering more and more customers Voice as a Service via the Internet," said Reinhard Clemens, member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom and CEO of T-Systems. The demand for integration of all communications media into a uniform application environment such as Unified Communications (UC) is growing fast. Today’s complex data and network environments are made up of a host of proprietary and specialized components from a variety of vendors since the individual vendors usually do not offer all the elements needed for a complete UC solution. This new agreement will let Siemens Enterprise Communications and T-Systems simplify the migration to this technology for their customers. "T-Systems is leveraging the integration of our Open Communications solutions to the benefit of the enterprise customers and can thus offer them greater functionality and maximum flexibility while helping them reduces costs," said Hamid Akhavan, CEO of Siemens Enterprise Communications.
