Bangalore:Testronic Labs (TL) has launched a temperature testing service for electronic components using a newly-acquired Votsch VT7034 temperature chamber. This product is an addition to their professional hardware testing service products line. This new equipment will allow TL's expert hardware testers to perform climatic tests to assure the reliability of a wide range of electronic products before their release into mass production. The electrical parameters of USB/SATA devices need to be tested under fluctuating temperatures, as do the PHY characteristics of electronic components to ensure peak performance across the range of conditions - essential considerations for hardware manufacturers in the automotive, consumer electronics and silicon chip industries. This addition to TL's extensive testlab is automated, and does not need a dedicated operator to instigate the temperature changes planned in advance to stress the product according to the testplan. Environmental, or temperature, testing is required across the range of electronic products but in particular will appeal to TL's clients in the automotive and precision instrument industries.
