NEW DELHI: Tata Consultancy Services has become the first company in the country to partner with Microsoft for its SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services and the two have identified telecom, manufacturing and ITES vertical as early adopter of the business intelligence tool. The Reporting Services is a powerful business tool that increases insight and provides information from any data source to any device, Microsoft said in a release on Tuesday. The tool is integrated into SQL Server and comes at no additional cost, allowing customers to create richer business intelligence (BI) solutions faster, it said. "Microsoft SQL Server with its integrated Reporting Services tool will make BI more broadly accessible and cost effective for corporates. It also provides immense opportunities to our partner," the release said quoting Microsoft India's Product Marketing Manager, Tarun Malik. "Business Intelligence is a rapidly growing market in India.
