TCS Q3 net up at Rs 758.22 crore

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd has posted a marginal increase in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 at Rs 758.22 crore (Rs 7.582 billion), compared to Rs 718.47 crore (Rs 7.184 billion) in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.
Revenues during the reporting fiscal increased to Rs 3,302 crore (Rs 33.02 billion) as against Rs 2,696 crore (Rs 26.96 billion) a year ago, the company said on Thursday.
TCS added 83 clients during the third quarter, with an employee intake of 6,076 for the last three months, it added.
