Sun Tech days to be held in Bangalore

BANGALORE:Sun Microsystems today announced the Bangalore Edition of Sun Tech Days, a premier technology conference for developers doing breakthrough development in Sun and Java application, for two days from May 19. Sun Tech Days, an annual global event, provides professional developers, programmers, web developers, content providers, service providers and system integrators with the technology, training and tools necessary for developing competitive applications for the internet, intranet and enterprise environments, a company release here said today. The event, to be held at the Bangalore Trade Center at Whitefield, aimed at inspiring developers to expand their technical vision and influence in the direction of today's rapidly changing software development environment. "The developer community is one of Sun's most important partners and Sun Tech Days is the largest developer event in the country. The event has attracted over 1,000 developers in the past. This year's Sun Tech Days seminar has special significance because 2005 marks the 10th anniversary of Java," the release quoted Sun Microsystems India Pvt. Ltd Marketing Director K P Unnikrishnan as saying.
