Sun Developer Meet in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Reiterating its commitment to the Indian developer community, global software major Sun Microsystems will hold the next edition of Sun Developer Summit here on December 11. The Sun Microsystems Sun Developer Summit is held in various cities across the country, providing India's young software developers an opportunity to come together and interact with one another, according to a press release issued by the company Wednesday. As part of Sun Microsystems' worldwide developer outreach programme, technology evangelists from around the world will be here to make presentations on topics related to Java, NetBeans and OpenSolaris. Speakers for this daylong event include renowned Sun technologists Reginald Hutcherson, Chuk-Munn Lee, Peter Karlsson, Rima Patil and Srikanth Ramakrishna. The event will also include knowledge-sharing sessions on latest technologies, developments and solutions. "The vibrant and creative developer community forms the heart and soul of the global technology industry.
