Subex wins order worth millions of dollars

MUMBAI: Subex Systems Ltd. which makes software for telecommunication service firms, said on Tuesday it had won its first contract from an Internet service provider worth millions of dollars. Bangalore-based Subex said the deal for its product that helps prevent billing frauds was from a North American client with a subscriber base of more than five million. It did not give details of the duration or the amount of the contract. Subex's shares rose as much as 5.9 percent to Rs 610 in a firm Bombay market.
