BANGALORE:Subex Systems Ltd., which makes software that helps telecoms companies check billing frauds, has reported a 45 percent rise in net profit at 
205.72 million that grew by 33 percent for 2005 fiscal over the previous year.
Revenues from the product business grew by 58 percent, accounting for 53 percent of the overall revenues. The board has recommended a final dividend of 2 per share (20 percent on par value).
Subex CEO Subash Menon said, The growth in products eclipsed the growth in services, as we had expected, besides significant growth in the profitability 0f the products segment. The acquisitions have turned profitable in the past six months. We expect complete payback from them by March 2006.
