NEW DELHI: South Korea and India have agreed to work together in the mobile broadcasting sector, paving the way for Seoul to export its DMB technology to India. After signing the cooperation pact, spokesperson of South Korea's ministry of Information and Communication said that the deal has been signed with the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and India's Tata Group. The Tata Group is interested in introducing the DMB service, in which South Korea leads the world. The country launched the world's first satellite and terrestrial mobile broadcasting services in May and December, respectively, last year. In order to raise awareness of its DMB technologies, the ministry said it would hold a number of demonstrations in India next month with local government officials and business leaders on attendance.
