SI: So today there are several IT companies that provide this service. Tell us what is different about Sonata? Why should a customer opt for Sonata's services over another company's?

RS: Sonata has been into the ERP arena for quite a few years now. We became a SAP partner in October 2008. Sonata is a GOLD partner of SAP which is a unique achievement amongst the mid tier focused Indian IT companies and as a part of this process. SAP certified Sonata's SAP Business All-in-One solution for the manufacturing sub-vertical. We are creating a platform for the company where everyone can login to a common ERP and do his job efficiently.

We help companies define value proposition for their business and improvement in their business by adopting best practices. In the discovery and evaluation process we work with our customers and arrive at what their business is, what are the best practices which the industry is using today, and what best practices are incorporated into systems like SAP. In other words, we help them build the roadmap to achieve value proposition, not just system implementation.
