Sonata, Atlanta-based TechDiscovery enter into strategic tie-up

BANGALORE: Sonata Software Ltd, Bangalore-based IT consulting and software services company, on Friday announced a strategic partnership with TechDiscovery, an Atlanta-based software engineering firm focused on building commercial-grade applications for technology companies.
TechDiscovery offers managed right-shore software development services to its US clients, through this partnership with Sonata, a joint statement said.
"Managed right-shore software development refers to the blending of domestic -- in this case, US-based -- and international resources to deliver superior custom software applications at rates that are reduced up to 50 per cent", according to the statement.
Under the partnership, Sonata would be the international offshore development partner and TechDiscovery the domestic development partner for clients, it was stated.
TechDiscovery and Sonata are currently underway with several joint software development projects for Atlanta-based software companies, the statement said.
