SlashSupport opens 4th offshore facility

CHENNAI: The U.S. based SlashSupport, part of Cybernet Software Systems Group, a provider of advanced tech support solutions, has announced major expansion of its offshore operations in India. SlashSupport, with three delivery facilities here and a redundancy center in Singapore, opened its fourth offshore facility in Chennai. The new facility, spanning 80,000 sq ft area, would become operational next quarter and the company will hire over 1,000 IT professionals over the next few months in Chennai, a release here said today. With this expansion, SlashSupport now had a state-of-the-art infrastructure spread over 180,000 sq ft. SlashSupport CEO Shiva Ramani said ‘‘we are happy to state that a couple of the Global Technology majors have off-shored their tech support function to SlashSupport.” On the company's continued expansion in the city, he said, “In Chennai, we have found the confluence of technological depth, breadth of expertise, solid infrastructure and a great attitude critical for a support organization. Our offshore expansion in Chennai is in line with SlashSupport's growth plans.'' SlashSupport Service Offerings included Enterprise Technology Application and Product Support, Consumer Technology Application & Product Support and System Management Services.
