Simplex Infrastructure bags 6.3 Billion order in Dubai

Kolkata: Infrastructure solutions provider Simplex Infrastructures has bagged an order worth 6.3 billion ($137 million) in Dubai to build a tower in the city of Arabia. The company will build the second tower of a twin-tower complex, 'G-Emporium', in Arabia, Simplex said in a statement here Wednesday. The project will be executed over next 30 months. "We, at Simplex, are proud to have bagged another prestigious order in the Middle East. This project would provide impetus to us in further capitalising on the emerging prospects in the national and international markets," Simplex director Amitabh Das Mundhra said. "With the business growing at over 50 percent, we expect about 25 percent revenue from overseas operations," he added. The project is a 56-storied commercial tower. Simplex has also secured an order worth 5.87 billion for building a residential tower in Dubai.
