Bangalore: Simmtronics Semiconductors, a manufacturer of memory modules, motherboards and VGA cards has announced an incentive scheme for its direct billing partners on the occasion of Independence Day. The scheme called as 'Freedom to Earn More' is applicable on Simmtronics motherboard SIMM-INT, G-31E(E) and memory module 1GB DDR2 667/800 MHz. The scheme is introduced by keeping in mind the current market conditions. "This scheme is intended at enthusing new life and vigor amidst the channel network that has had to face low sales coupled with a steep dip in margins and gloomy market scenario in the recent past," said Vinit Shangle, National Sales Manager of Simmtronics. Simmtronics' direct billing partners, which are approximately 1800 in number and spread across major cities in India, can avail benefits of the scheme as and when they sell the required product bundles in the unit slabs of 20, 60 and 100. According to Shangle, the international prices for DDR2 memory modules have gone up by about 25 percent in the last 10 to 12 days. To compound the problem further, the G31 chipset-based motherboards are in short supply owing to which its prices have shot up by 15-20 percent. The 'Freedom to Earn More' scheme is valid for seven days starting from August 12 to 18, 2009 and the claims for the same shall be settled within a month.
