Sharp plans expansion, launches new video wall display in India

Bangalore: Sharp Business Systems, a global provider of document solutions, multimedia projector & LCD professional display products, launched its new LCD Video Wall Displays. Going by its large expansion plans, the company has launched its new LCD plant which it claim to be world's only plant to use 10th Generation glass substrates at 'Green Front Sakai.'

This multi-screen display system is built around the new PN-V601 60V-inch professional LCD monitor, which uses Sharp's proprietary LCD technology to reduce the width of the monitor's bezel. The width of the bezels between neighboring displays is 6.5 mm. This enables practical applications such as single large-screen video wall displays and creates new possibilities in presentation spaces. The application for Video Wall ranges from Security, Traffic Management at Airports & Railway Stations, Control Rooms & Network Operation Centres (NOC), Amusement Parks, Super Markets, Theme Restaurants, Movie Theatres for Movie Trailers Display, Reception Display and many more.

In a ceremony organized by the company at The Hotel Oberoi, New Delhi, Fujikazu Nakayama - Executive Officer & Group General Manager, Business Solutions Group from Sharp Corporation, Japan together with other senior officials of the company, K Ajikawa - Chairman, India Operation, S K Sinha, Managing Director, Sharp Business Systems India, unveiled and launched this new product form Sharp. Speaking at the product launch, Fujikazu Nakayama reiterated,

"Sharp will continue to create unique, one-of-a-kind products based on its proprietary LCD technologies. Sharp will also work to build network-based content distribution systems to offer optimal solutions to meet the needs of customers and their applications."
