Share your ideas with 'Invent With Nokia'

Bangalore: Nokia is always known for its innovation and creative ideas. This time it has figured a new way of attracting smart ideas from people who has the potential of ingenious invention in them; hence a unique initiative called Invent With Nokia" has been launched for the purpose. This is a strategy by Nokia to unite the minds of 1.4 billion users across the globe and create a sense of contribution to their favorite handset maker through their invention. If their discovery is selected under this initiative Nokia will award a handsome sum to the winner. Stephen Elop, Nokia's President and CEO, invites external inventors to contribute to Nokia's future growth. He stated that "At Nokia, we connect people, wherever they are. We have some very smart people inside Nokia, but we cannot do everything ourselves. We want to connect directly with smart inventors who can help us achieve our strategic objectives by adding value to our consumers." If anyone of you have a brilliantly cool idea, it could turn into a product service by Nokia. It does not matter whether or not you are a full time inventor. In order to participate in this initiative you have to register to "Invent With Nokia" and then submit your invention to Nokia and agree not to disclose it to anyone for at least four months. If Nokia does not want to pursue your invention, it will inform you and you will then continue to have the same rights to your invention as you did before you submitted it to "Invent With Nokia." If Nokia notifies you within four months that it is interested in your invention, you will be eligible for an award if Nokia applies for a patent based on your invention and you may be eligible for a further award depending on the success of the product and the level of award you choose at the patent application stage.
