Sequence signs D'gipro as India distributor

SANTA CLARA, CA:Power integrity EDA tools maker Sequence Design has named D'gipro Design Automation & Marketing Pvt. Ltd. its distributor in India. Under the terms of the agreement, D'gipro will provide sales and support for Sequence's complete line of chip-design software for SoC designs from RTL power analysis and optimization, to concurrent analysis and optimization of timing, signal-integrity, dynamic voltage-drop, and leakage power at the physical level. Founded in 1987, D'gipro is one of the country's top EDA suppliers for ASIC, FPGA, and system-level design tools. D'gipro is headquartered in Bangalore, with additional offices in New Delhi and Hyderabad. D'gipro's VLSI design center in Bangalore has trained more than 1,000 VLSI engineers for design houses such as STMicroelectronics, TI-India, Philips India, IBM, and Broadcom among others. "With many design services companies and multinational corporations in India moving into the complete ASIC Design flow, India is an emerging and important market for Sequence in the Asia-Pacific region," said Mark Goldman, Sequence vice president of field operations.
