Selectica backs Q3 outlook

SAN JOSE: Selectica, Inc. (Nasdaq: SLTC - News), a leading provider of Interactive Selling Systems (ISS), Thursday announced that that it currently expects results for the third-quarter ending December 31, 2002 to meet prior guidance.
The company expects revenue to be in the $9.5 to $10 million range with a pro-forma earnings per share loss in the $0.06 to $0.09 range.
"Bookings for the third fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2002 are expected to be strengthened based primarily on a deal with a Fortune 50 company," the company said in an official release.
The transaction however, is subject to certain contingencies, the company claimed.
