Seagate denies Rs. 1.4 Crore job offer to Indian
Chennai: Chennai based research scholar R Shivaraman claims that two months before U.S. based Seagate Technologies had appointed him as an associate scientist with a whopping package of 1.4 crore per annum, but the company denied the claim on Monday through an email to its agency in India, reports DNA. "We have found no record of employment or engagement with Shivaraman," the agency quoted Seagate Technologies as saying with regard to the March 9 report 'Nano find lands Chennai scholar big bucks job in U.S'. While talking to Media on the issue, Shivaraman said that the Seagate offer was pre-conditional to completing his PhD by December after which he proposed to join the company. "The offer is pre-conditional. I have also spoken to the agency and asked it to issue a clarification," said Shivaraman to DNA.
