Bangalore: After patiently waiting for months, dreaming a secure position in one of the largest IT companies in India, over 6,000 fresh graduates who got offer letters from jerked Satyam Computers now are clueless about their future, reported The Times of India. Though most of the recruits got offer letters early last year and were to have joined the company even before moths, the company later deferred the joining dates several times. The recruits, who have been expecting their first job appointments since long days, now fear that whether they won't get considered as freshers if the appointment get delayed. Most of them had not applied for higher studies as they were all set to be Satyam employees. However, as the new batch will be coming out in April, the fresh recruits are not likely to be considered as fresher. Concerned over the future, about 5.800 fresh Satyam recruits has created an online community named 'Satyam 2008' to share their views and woes each other. Moreover, seeking the intervention, they have mailed letters to the Prime Minister, Union Minister for company affairs and the head of industry body Nasscom. "We are totally clueless. Our future is bleak. We are not sure of Satyam jobs while other companies say they don't have jobs for us. We already have a virtual Satyam label, hope that won't hurt us," Srinivas, one of the fresh Satyam recruits told The Times of India. Students who have taken education loans are finding no way to repay it.
