MUMBAI: Satyam Computer Services Ltd said it would provide online patient information management system to a non-profit organization, Byrraju Foundation. The solution, a web-enabled healthcare platform built on Oracle's Healthcare Transaction Base (Oracle-HTB), enables the physician to access the medical records of patients in remote villages and provide medical consultation, Satyam informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The solution is initially being deployed in 150 villages where Byrraju is presently working. Satyam’s President, Healthcare and Commercial Businesses Ram Mynampati said, “This solution is now available for several of our clients in the provider and public health space to enable their remote applications backed with technology.” Corporate and non-profit organizations who deploy this solution will have access to a system that enables building patient records, history of illness, patient visit schedules, medicine administration schedule and others that can be customized to suit the requirements of that particular client, he added.
