Satyam ties up with MS China

HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services Ltd and Microsoft China have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop a multi-billion Enterprise Solutions to be market in the Greater China region. The agreement is a step further in the Satyam Microsoft Global Alliance, which seeks to use the Microsoft platform and products along with solutions and services from Satyam. Apart from this, both the companies are keen to establish a Satyam Microsoft Adaptive Solution Center in the Greater China region. The center will highlight Satyam's capabilities in offering enterprise business solutions as well as Microsoft products and tools. Commenting on the development, Ram Mynampati, President, Satyam, said, "China is an emerging marketplace where MNCs are rapidly adapting enterprise solutions today to compete successfully and regional Chinese enterprises will mature soon to demand such innovations.” Both the companies see the Greater China region as a booming enterprise market with an appetite for innovative, high-value, rapid execution, low TCO business solutions and, therefore, have committed to long-term joint investments, the companies said in a joint statement. The agreement is to target the manufacturing, telecom, automotive, banking, financial services, healthcare, insurance, retail, consumer goods, travel, logistics and retail market segments.
