SatNav listed among finalists of Red Herring awards

Hyderabad: SatNav Technologies, a Hyderabad based IT products company, has been listed among the 200 finalists of 'Red Herring 100 Asia' awards, 2007. Red Herring 100 Asia is one of the prestigious business awards across the Asia-Pacific region, which is announced by the Red Herring Magazine. It honours 100 cutting-edge private technology companies from the region. The 200 finalists are from 16 countries including China, India, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Australia and Vietnam. "Getting short listed among the 200 companies for Red Hearing 100 Asia Awards is a prestigious moment for us. We will be better recognised among the other companies across Asia for the innovative ways that we use for our products and to serve our clients," said Amit Prasad, founder and managing director of SatNav Technologies, in a statement here Wednesday. The finalists and winning companies will celebrate at the Red Herring 100 Asia event in Hong Kong, on Aug 29-31. The event brings together an elite roster of entrepreneurial and global venture investment firms to showcase excellence in innovation. SatNav Technologies has earlier won Computer Society of India, Microsoft India Innovation and Nasscom Innovation awards. Incorporated in 2004, SatNav Technologies is a product-focused company launched by the SatNav Group of promoters who have business interests in IT products, education and aviation maintenance.
