Sarla Tech acquires US firm

BANGALORE: Sarla Technologies, a part of the Parekh Group of India, has announced that its US subsidiary has acquired the business of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based Synapse Systems LLC, formerly the engineering division of Gray Matter Systems LLC. Synapse provides solutions that control, collect, distribute, and visually present information from the plant floor throughout the enterprise, supplying clients with scalable solutions that deliver increased productivity and return on investment. Synapse also offers best-in-class global customer care for their client's technology investment. "The addition of Synapse Systems to the Parekh family brings strong growth opportunities for us. Synapse's existing clients and partners will benefit immensely by Sarla's new products, cost effective services, International experience, research and development facility in India, as well as, strong financial backing from the Parekh Group," said business head of Sarla Technologies Anil Mehta. "Additionally, Synapse enhances our market presence within the United States in the rapidly growing field of Manufacturing Software Solutions and Software QA testing," he added. According to the company release, the acquisition strengthens Synapse Systems' position as a leader in automation solutions, and offers enhanced capabilities for delivering highly engineered solutions with an international presence.
