Samsung's Galaxy pop CDMA will be available in India at 9750


Bangalore: Samsung has announced the CDMA version of Galaxy pop smartphone in India.The phone will be available in India on 25 March at 9750, which is 750 higher than the GSM version. Pop will be the third CDMA Android smartphone to reach India. As the phone is an open market handset device it can work with any CDMA operator. The internal parts of the phone are expected to be same as the GSM version. The phone runs on Android 2.2 operating system with 800 MHz processor. It has a 3.15 MP camera. The phone has pre installed Gmail, Gtalk, Youtube, Google Maps, Orkut, Quick Office and Android Market. It has FM radio with unlimited channels to store. The other features include Wi-Fi, HSD, USB, Bluetooth 3.0, Auto sync connectivity, USB, SD card support up to 32 GB. RCOM and Tata Indicom have already occupied the CDMA market. Now we have to see how Samsung's new CDMA will compete with other CDMA carriers.
