Samsung India launches NF210 netbook & SF510 notebook


Bangalore: A new netbook and notebook has been launched by Samsung for the Indian market. The products, NF210 netbook and SF510 notebook, were first unveiled in September. The NF210 is priced at 22,900 while the cost of the notebook is 55,490. The netbook NF210 features a 10.1 inch display (1024x600 resolution) with LED backlit and anti-glare properties. It ships with integrated Wi-Fi and 2GB RAM. The NF210 is the first Intel Atom dual-core powered netbook from Samsung. There is a 'Fast Search' feature added to the netbook allowing users to start the netbook faster than usual. There are three USB 2.0 ports along with Bluetooth 3.0 and SRS surround sound feature. The device comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 operating system. Samsung is offering an external DVD-RW at 2,000 and an additional second year warranty at 699 with the NF210. Coming to the features of the SF510 notebook, there is a 15.6 inch HD display with LED backlit property. Integrated with Wi-Fi, the machines packs in 4GB RAM, 1GB NVIDIA GPU. It is powered by Intel Core processors, and owners can choose between either Core i3 or i5. Other features of the notebook include integrated webcam, an HDMI port along with a spill-proof keyboard. The SF510 also ships with features like Fast Boot and Samsung's AllShare media-sharing software. Samsung, with the launch of the above models, has now reached a count of 17 netbooks and notebooks models in India. The netbooks are priced at a range of 15,990 to 22,990 and the range in which the notebooks sell is from 22,850 to 55,490.
