Samsung Galaxy tab Wi-Fi only version now available at $349

Bangalore: Samsung has announced that they will start selling the Wi-Fi only version from April 10th for $349 in U.S. They will also start taking preorders from online stores like CompUSA, TigerDirect and Circuit City. The other retailers will start carrying the Tab later. Samsung launched the 7 inch tablet with 1024x600 resolution, Android 2.2 Froyo, Adobe Flash player10.1, and it includes a rear facing 3 MP camera and a front facing 1.3 MP camera. It also has a camcorder for video chat. But Samsung failed to do well in the tab's market as it runs on Andriod 2.2 operating system which is not a very applicable operating system for tablets. Some of the applications also did not work well on the device. Samsung Galaxy tab Wi-Fi only has come up with the price range $150 which is less than its competitor 16 GB Wi-Fi only iPad 2. Placing the tablet's price less, Samsung is vouching out to customers of Apple. Along with this, Samsung is also bringing two new tablets that will be powered by Honeycomb. They are Galaxy 10.1 and Galaxy 8.9. By lining up attractive tablets we need to wait and watch how Samsung products are going to compete with the other tablet carriers.
