S. Karthik appointed MD of Analog Devices

BANGALORE: Analog Devices, a global leader in high performance semiconductor for signal processing applications, appointed S. Karthik as managing director of its India product development center (IPDC). He takes over from Reddy Penumalli, who is returning to Analog Devices, USA. S.Karthik will be responsible for the growth of IPDC in chip design, DSP software development and DSP application engineering. Prior to joining Analog, Karthik was a senior engineering manager at National Semiconductor in Bangalore. He was instrumental in developing a fault grading software for the Pentium-pro at Intel corp., Folsom, USA. Karthik has an M.S and Ph.D in computer engineering from the university of Texas at Austin, USA.
