ATLANTA: SSI North America, a subsidiary of SSI, has landed a $13 million two-year software development contract from the State of Minnesota to build its HealthMatch eligibility system. The HealthMatch software application, according to a company release, will automate healthcare eligibility for the Minnesota Department of Human Services. SSI has previously executed projects for other state government agencies including the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance and Wyoming Department of Family Services. The HealthMatch solution will be developed using @Vantage, the next generation platform of SSI for case management and eligibility processing. Kalpathi S. Suresh, Chairman and CEO of SSI, said the contract would be executed in two years time with a gross margin of 40 to 45 per cent. "SSI's global strategy is to focus on specific business domains. Health and Human Services is an important focus for us and we plan to continue to expand our presence within this space," said Suresh.
