SEEC Inc. raises $4 M in funding

PITTSBURGH: SEEC Inc., a provider of application modernization solutions, today announced that it has raised $ 4 million funding from a group of private investors led by former FreeMarkets, Inc. executives Glen T. Meakem and Shane M. Tulloch. SEEC founder Ravindra Koka will continue to play a pivotal role with the company as Chief Strategy and Technology Officer and as a member of the Board. Meanwhile Meakem was appointed Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors and Tulloch was named President and CEO. "SEEC is a promising company with all of the elements required for success -- talented management, proven solutions and a solid roster of customers," said Meakem. "We are very pleased to be providing capital that will enable SEEC to achieve its mission of helping companies around the world transform their enterprise applications to meet the demands of today's ever-changing business environment."
