SAS India, Tata Infotech in software alliance

MUMBAI: Business intelligence software major SAS India Ltd has signed a strategic alliance with Tata Infotech Ltd, a systems integrator, to jointly offer customer analytics and organisational intelligence solutions. Under the pact, SAS India would offer a range of customer analytics and organisational intelligence solutions, which would be integrated and implemented by the Tata group company, a SAS India release said here today, quoting the company's head (marketing) George Varghese. The companies would mainly target telecom, manufacturing, retail, banking, financial services and insurance sectors, Varghese said. SAS India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAS Institute Inc, a gobal end-to-end business solutions provider.
