SAP appoints Bhuvaneswar Naik as VP of HR for India

Bangalore: SAP AG announced the appointment of Bhuvaneswar Naik as the Vice President (VP), Human Resources (HR) for India. In this role, Naik will have strategic and operational responsibility of the people function. He will foster higher customer satisfaction through driving people strategy and process alignment across all SAP entities in India.
Naik has worked with SAP in the past as Head of Human Resources for SAP Labs India from inception till early 2003; subsequently he assumed the role of Executive Assistant to the Extended Board at SAP AG from 2003 to 2004 and was the VP Global HR Shared Services in 2005.
Naik brings over 17 years of human resources experience of which 15 years have been in leadership roles in global organizations like SAP, Capgemini, Yahoo! and Taj Group of Hotels. His most recent role was the Vice President - People Processes, India and Asia Pacific, Financial Services GBU Capgemini. Prior to this, he was Director of Human Resources at Yahoo! India.
Naik holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT, Calicut and Master of Arts in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He is a regular speaker on HR topics in business schools and seminars.
