1. "Inquilab Zindabad" (Long Live the Revolution):

‘Inquilab Zindabad’ was a revolutionary chant during the pre-independence era that induced fear into the heart of the British Raj in India. It was created by Maulana Hasrat Mohani, a famous Muslim leader, and was popularized by the young social revolutionaries such as Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Batukishwer Dut and Ashfaqulla Khan. This slogan was widely used to urge young generation to support and endorse rebellious actions against the British Raj.

2. "Jai-Hind" (Glory to India):

‘Jai-Hind’ is a war-cry and a salutation slogan that was extensively used during the British rule. This slogan was claimed to be coined by Chempakaraman Pillai, but researchers had stated that it was first coined by Major Abid Hasan Safrani. This slogan was immortalized by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose as the war-cry of the Azad Hind Fauj. It has since then captured the imagination of millions of Indians and has inspired them to fight for the cause of our nation.
