Reliance bags $35M order from China

MUMBAI: One of ChinaÂ’s largest telecom operator China Netcom has bought bandwidth worth $35 million from Reliance Communications Ltd. China Unicom will buy about 50 gb of bandwidth for connectivity between China and the U.S. west coast. The one-year order will be served by Reliance group company Flag Telecom. Since last month Reliance has |bagged orders from Deutsche Telekom AG to supply about 150-200 gigabytes of bandwidth besides a $40 million deal from the Bahrain government to link the middle east.
