Ramco in pact with U.S. firm for e-learning biz

NEW DELHI: Ramco Systems, a mid-size Indian IT services company, Monday said it had signed an agreement with a U.S.-based firm to provide e-learning solutions in India and select Southeast Asian countries. As part of the agreement, Ramco will offer e-talk Corporation's call centre quality management and e-learning tools to customers in India, Malaysia and Singapore, said a Ramco Systems press statement issued here. "Ramco's software integrated with e-talk's solutions will help improve performance, boost productivity and revenues of call centres," said Niranjan Delavictoire, country head (sales operations and strategic alliances) of Ramco Systems. As part of the agreement, Ramco Systems will sell, install and fully support e-talk's solutions such as JASS, Recorder, Advisor, Survey, Expert and Qfiniti, the company statement said. "Ramco and e-talk will work together to help international clients enhance their customer service levels," said John Sweeton, vice president (global channel sales) of Texas-based e-talk Corporation. "Our expertise in delivering quality management and e-learning solutions will greatly enhance Ramco's ability to successfully innovate and support call centre quality in India, Malaysia and Singapore." Privately owned e-talk operates in about 40 countries, utilising a network of partners and distributors.
