Ramaswamy is new MD for LogicaCMG in India

BANGALORE: Kannan Ramaswamy has been appointed Managing director for LogicaCMG in India and the SAARC countries. LogicaCMG is a UK-based IT services company with a turnover of GBP 1.7 billion and employs around 20,000 staff in offices across 34 countries. Kannan will be responsible for building LogicaCMG’s telecoms and financial services business across the region from the company’s offices in Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi. In his new position, Kannan will oversee LogicaCMG’s plans to expand its business and strengthen its brand presence across the India and SAARC region. He will manage the company’s client relationships and will play a critical role in delivering LogicaCMG’s solutions throughout the region. Previously Kannan Ramaswamy was the financial services sales director for LogicaCMG in India. He succeeds Louwke van der Steen as managing director for India and SAARC. Louwke van der Steen will take a senior position with LogicaCMG in the Netherlands.
