New Delhi: QAI Global Institute, a consulting and workforce development organization, has launched an examination for software professionals through which they can be recognized as Certified Software Business Analysts (CSBA). The first CSBA examination will be held on 28th March, 2009 and candidates will appear in the exam at multiple centers countrywide. Navyug Mohnot, CEO, QAI said, "The examination provides an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate the range and level of knowledge, skill and competencies acquired during their many years of study. Furthermore, the CSBA certification has been designed to specifically evaluate individuals who are experts in the technical domain but who have either no experience or limited experience to put that to business benefit." "I am confident that a calm and positive approach, allied to the hard work already undertaken in preparing for the examinations, will be awarded when the results are released in May," Mohnot added. This certification has been created to address the huge requirement of organizations that acknowledge the need for business analysis skills that are typically inadequate in the technical professionals. The need for improved and more reliable information transfer calls for software business analyst professionals who can effectively bridge the knowledge and language gap between the business and IT communities.
