Pureview Technologies starts India operations

BANGALORE: Pureview Technologies Pvt Ltd has announced the launch of their Indian operations. Started with an initial investment of $3.3 million in India, Pureview Technologies Pvt Ltd is a joint venture company of Pureview of India and Funet of Taiwan. The company would be based out of Mumbai and would be offering cutting edge Viewing Technology solutions like LCD-TFT monitors in India. The company has plans to introduce other products like Notebook computers, LCD monitor-cum-TV, Plasma televisions, etc within the next six months in India. Pureview Technologies has set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for all the above products in technical collaboration with Funet, Taiwan. Pureview products will come with a 3-year On Site Warranty. Pureview Technologies Pvt Ltd is the first electronics company in India to utilize the FTA (Free Trade Agreement) between SAARC nations, mooted and actively promoted by the Indian Prime Minister Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee. Pureview Technologies is the first Indian LCD monitors company and only second Indian IT company to set up a manufacturing base in Sri Lanka under the FTA, at the Export Processing Zone in Sri Lanka. This will also be the point of feed for the company for its entire SAARC operations. This move will reduce the time to bring in the monitors to India to two days from current average of approximately 20 days, thus keeping better tab on the market pulse.
