Mumbai: India's second largest construction and engineering firm Punj Lloyd Ltd Thursday said its subsidiary Sembawang Engineers and Constructors had bagged a 6.7 billion ($165 million) contract to develop the Sentosa resort in Singapore. The contract is for sub-structural work at the Sentosa Integrated Resort Development, being promoted by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidy of the Genting Group, Punj Lloyd said. The company said that the multi-billion-rupee contract is a clear recognition for the Singapore-based Sembawang's strength and serves to enhance its reputation across the broad scope of engineering, procurement and construction of buildings and infrastructure. The project project has to be completed by Aug 2008, it said.
