Proteans opens new Development Center

BANGALORE: Proteans Software Solutions, a provider of Outsourced Product Development services has set up its third software development center in Bangalore.
Prashant Singh, COO, Proteans said, "We are consistently winning new customers and expanding existing engagements. Our business pipeline looks great, and we will are looking to hire around 250 more engineers in the next 12 months."
Currently, Proteans is 175 strong, and now has three development centers in Bangalore. The company is evaluating Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in India for setting up further development centers. Proteans operates out of Atlanta and Seattle in the US.
The company has built over 80 products, working with over 40 software product companies in the past four years. Currently Proteans is engaged with around 20 active customers in US, and recently acquired its first customers in the UK. Its customer base includes enterprises in Life Sciences, CRM, Mobile, Professional Services and Food Service industries.
