Primarion appoints Deepak Savadatti V P Marketing

TORRENCE, CA: Semiconductor company Primarion Inc. has appointed Deepak Savadatti as its new vice president of marketing. He will be responsible for the company's marketing, product management and business strategy. Savadatti replaces Brian Wong, former executive vice president of marketing, who quit the company recently. Before his present job, Savadatti was the director of offline products at iWatt, a digital power management company, and was responsible for driving all sales, product marketing and engineering efforts at the start-up. Savadatti has also held managerial roles at Hifn Inc., a network security company, Quality Semiconductor and California Micro Devices. Primarion is a mixed signal integrated circuit company that addresses the growing demand for sharing, storing, computing and displaying of digital data. Primarion's digital chipsets provide cost, performance, and feature improvements over analog power ICs. Its integrated circuits enable digitally controlled optical links for storage, computing and communication routers.
