CHENNAI: Polaris Software Labs has improved its margins by almost 50 percent for some of the projects the company has implemented to clients like Deutsche Leasing and Shinsei Bank, Chairman and CEO Arun Jain said. He also said the margins were about 20 percent when Polaris had a service-based strategy with these clients. Jain said the company had implemented Intellect suite, its proprietary software in 8-10 projects that includes retail and corporate banking for clients. These products were based on service-oriented architecture, which is a framework to construct and interlink a company's back-end systems, he said.
