PlayStation prices get slashed, now available 7990

Bangalore: The new price point for the PSP (PlayStation Portable) in India market has been announced. The retail price of PSP will be 7990, and will be coming with one free game from April 2011. Electronic major Sony decided to slash the prices to maximize the sales opportunity in the summer season. With the exam season over and school holidays getting over, the demand for gaming consoles grows double. With the free game of 'Street Cricket Champions', the PSP is eyeing to grab the attention of the cricket frenzy in India. The wide collection of games on the platform has many varieties such as LocoRoco's in LocoRoco 2, to underground street racing in Need For Speed; karting to crazy new heights with Modnation Racers, or join Kratos on in God of War: Ghost of Sparta. Atindriya Bose Country Manager, PlayStation business in India, commented, "PSP continues to offer a total entertainment package at unbeatable prices.
