NEW DELHI: The Delhi State Industrial Development Corp (DSIDC) plans to collaborate in a venture that will use plastic waste to construct roads in the Indian capital. The proposed joint venture will combine state-of-the art road longevity technology with the city's compulsions for management of non-biodegradable plastic waste, DSIDC managing director Shri Jalaj Shrivastava said Friday. DSIDC also proposes to set up a Business and Investment Forum as well as an environment-friendly 15-acre Ecological Park and a 200-acre Knowledge Park. These are among the prestigious proposals the corporation has been pursuing with vigour, he said.
