PeopleSoft extends strategic alliance with Hexaware

BANGALORE: PeopleSoft, a provider of application software for the real-time enterprise, on Tuesday partnered with Hexaware to deliver enterprise solutions to the ASEAN region.
Hexaware, the largest PeopleSoft service provider for India, has implemented PeopleSoft solutions including HRMS and payroll, financials and CRM. "Using the PeopleSoft 8 suite of applications, Indian businesses have the opportunity to gain insight into their data and make decisions in real time. With this tie-up, Hexaware will bring expertise to new market," said Ashok Bildikar, senior vice president.
Since the partnership began, Hexaware has invested heavily with well-equipped PeopleSoft skills centers in Chennai and Mumbai, which are handling support for over 100 customers and Hexaware expects to increase its PeopleSoft manpower from 350 to about 500 by 2002 end.
