PeopleSoft, Sierra to offer BP solution

HYDERABAD : Sierra Atlantic has collaborated with PeopleSoft to deliver a family of packaged integration solutions called Business Process Integration Packs (PIPs) that address customer demand for pre-packaged integration solutions between PeopleSoft and other ERP applications such as SAP and Oracle. According to a Sierra Atlantic press release, each PIP automates a specific business process between PeopleSoft and SAP or Oracle with lower cost and complexity compared to traditional custom integration methods. PeopleSoft has partnered with Sierra Atlantic to develop the PIPs and deliver to customers as PeopleSoftproducts. “It is an OEM deal and PeopleSoft will be selling the products with their brand,” said Mr Sanjay Khendry, vice president, Sierra Atlantic. As a PeopleSoft Silver Services partner, Sierra Atlantic will be working with PeopleSoft Global Services (PGS) as well as end users directly to deploy these products. We will also undertake any custom integration of business processes that PeopleSoft end users may require,” said Sanjay Khendry, vice president at Sierra Atlantic in the release. The packs are built at Sierra Atlantic’s global development centre at Hyderabad , which also provides software development and testing services to enterprise application vendors like Oracle and Siebel. The packs are delivered for four product lines, customer relationship management (CRM), human capital management (HCM), supply chain management (SCM), and enterprise services automation (ESA).
