Passenger car sales down in Nov '06

NEW DELHI: Domestic passenger car sales were down by 2.31 percent at 68,840 units in the month of November as against 70,468 units in 2003. Motorcycle sales however increased 0.97 percent at 4,83,884 units in November as against 4,79,212 units in November 2003. The commercial vehicle sales improved by 5.52 per cent at 28,010 units in November as against 26,544 units in 2003.
