'Pakistani government is fragile and irresponsible'

"We need to effectively counter this impression. We need to ensure that another major terrorist attack does not take place on our soil. We must implement the policy of 'zero tolerance of terrorism' with total commitment."

Manmohan Singh also made a strong case for coming up with the best of technological and human capabilities within the country to defeat terrorism in all its manifestations.

1: Don't listen the eyewash by UN/US Govt,don't listen others,your family members are died in the borders and even in their natives by terriost,don't wait,give green signal to Airforce,Navy,Army to strike against neighbour,then only they realise the pain.

2: This statement from PM almost seems to put India in the "defensive" despite the outright onslaught on the part of the "actors" in Indian "theatre". "Drama" is intended to put India in defensive, and PM has fallen for it in this response. What we needed here is stinging statements from Nirupama Rao, she would be the right person to hit the point and give neighbor politicos the needed nightmares.

Come on Mr.Prime Minister, please talk some sense.

And btw, when we've clear proof of Pak's support in the mass murders in Mumbai, what the hell are you waiting for ? We've the support from allover the world, but for China, which of course is an expected behavior. This is a never before and never again oppurtunity as US itself said that India has the right to protect itself.

Then why can't we shell those terrorsit camps in the POK region atleast, to wipe it off clean ? Now that Israel is raiding Palastin and the US completely endorsing it, we should take the situation advantageous as we're in the SAME situation as theirs. In fact in much better position than Israel as a matter of fact. Why can't go into POK ? Atleast we'll see what'll be the response from the other side and how the world reacts.

We're spending lakhs of crores for Defense to buy fighter jets, arms, ammunitions etc. from Russia (mostly) and other western countries. What for ? To arrange in the shelf and organize a show like we do at home during Navrathiri ?

Atleast now, let's act, Mr.Prime Minister, instead of talking, talking and talking. We know, we're so damn good at it, but IT SUCKS.

4: PM Ji, We commend yr comments and statements that described our neighbouring country that has resorted to terrorism to destabilize our national security and peace... I think Peace and Diplomacy days are OVER and honestly its time for action. I sincerely feel we need to take a leaf out of Israel's book when it comes to National Security. Israel Govt does not care abt world leaders call for peace and diplomacy when its county's security is at stake.... And I believe that is possible when we take Offence is the best of defence.... I'm sure every Indian would believe in this as we have done enough justice to Peace and diplomacy and that has not resulted in any progress and instead its our country's innocent citizens who are being Gullotinized by this cowardly acts.. Protecting our citizens is our right and thats what Israel has done.. wiping out Hamas that is creating secrutiy threats... High time we resort to this offence... Now is the right time..

5: Dr manmohan ji,what you said is right.Lessions has been learnt now.Pakistanh is showing the intrest thru terrorism.I thing we got the information now what pakisthan govt wants from India and How its supportive to terror.How many sacrifies has done in India to learn the lessions to pak,all went in vain and People are bored,enough is enough.
Now we need to act and we need to uproot this terrorism from the India and whole world but first it should start with India.

6: Govt. of India has given more than sufficient time and opportunity for the Pakistani Govt. to realize its duties and act in a responsible way. The world communities were also given adequate time and knowledge on the war by Pakistani power groups in Indian soil. Govt. of India must act now and prove to the world that we are not fragile. Let India not play with words but with weapon. Every Indian will be whole heartedly supportive of this move. We are peace loving but that should not be looked as our weakness. Had U S or U K kept silent when such occurrences took place in their soil.

9: What took so long for the PM to come out and say what every one had been saying for years? It is a sad situation. Even an ordinary citizen of India knows about pakistani-state support, directly or indirectly,to various terorrism related ctivities against India. Or is this one more statement keeping the forthcoming elections in mind?
