Pakistan has 12 mn Internet users

Islamabad:Pakistan has 12 million Internet users, but the net is slow, says the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
The number has grown significantly in the last couple of years with service providers moving beyond Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi to reach more of the country's 166 million population.
According to the PTA, it is possible to connect homes with Internet at the low rate of 
2.50 per hour.
